The first day of the International Forum TRANSTEC 2022 main events

The speakers of the «North–South» ITC - moving forward» session discussed the prospects for the development of the corridor and exchanged experience in the use of seamless technologies in the organization of multimodal deliveries.

Head of the Directorate of International Transport Corridors Alexander Isaev spoke about on infrastructure development and the regulatory framework improvement.

First Deputy Managing Director of the Russian Railways, Sergey Pavlov noted the great importance of the North-South ITC for ensuring transport independence.

The Head of Oktyabrskaya Railway, Victor Golomolzin presented new routes and the attraction of partners not only from the North-West region, but also from Central Russia. Taking into account the capacity of the infrastructure, in his opinion, priority should be given to the development of the eastern corridor through Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Iran to India.

Managing Director at Siddhartha Logistics Co Pvt Ltd Nishchal Padhya spoke about the participation of his company in the «North–South» ITC development. 

Ruslan Allahverdi oglu Aliyev, trade representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Russian Federation, listed the main advantages of the «North–South» ITC. Among them is a reduction in the distance of transportation by two or more times, as well as a reduction in the cost of shipping containers compared to the sea route.

Together with the International Coordinating Council on Trans-Eurasian Transportation (CCTT) the «Euro-Asian transportation: new logistics and technological solutions» session was held. The participants discussed the impact of external factors on the sustainability of trans-Eurasian services, presented new routes due to the reorientation of foreign economic relations.

Committee on International Cooperation of the Russian Union of Industrialists and ` the Entrepreneurs Higher Engineering School under Russian University of Transport organized «Mobility in large urban agglomerations: International cooperation» session. The discussion was devoted to modern trends and patterns of mobility in agglomerations.

The participants of the «Customs and logistics activities: technologies, customs, infrastructure on the example of a bridge across the Amur River near the cities of Blagoveshchensk and Heihe» session considered the development of infrastructure to ensure mobility in the logistics of cross-border transportation.

The «Seamless logistics technologies in interaction between the EAEU and the SCO» session revealed the issues of integrating digital logistics management platforms for participants in international transport corridors. The experts exchanged views on the topic of logistics robotization, the use of drones and other unmanned vehicles. 

The TRANSTEC 2022 exposition was located on the same site as the Russian Industrialist exhibition for a synergistic effect. ExpoForum International CEO Sergey Voronkov led the official tour of the exposition for a VIP delegation consisting of RSPP President Alexander Shokhin, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Vasily Osmakov, Vice Governor of Saint Petersburg Kirill Polyakov and Members of the State Duma Denis Kravchenko.

Representatives of large industrial enterprises of Russia also took part in the tour. The booth of the Iranian company Behineh Tarabar Azhour. The official delegation was welcomed by the Chairman of the Board of Behineh Tarabar Azhour and Mohammad Majdi, Financial Director of AgroTrans.

Also, at the TRANSTEC 2022 site, many negotiations were held at the Business Contacts Exchange.
